  1. Great review and write up. I remember 25 years ago there was nothing like this out there. I tried to find a class for espresso, but there was nothing near where I lived. I bought a Rancilio Silvia and Rocky set up which came with a steep learning curve if you didn’t have espresso friends. I learned a lot by making mistakes.

    I could easily see starting out with one of these Barista Express set up. You will learn a lot and have a community to learn from online. Might be a fun set up for the weekend place if you have one. Small footprints are a good thing. Well under a $1000 is sweet. Easy to use, priceless.
