SL-70First Look Coming Soon

The SL-70 from Solis is a very interesting machine. In some ways, it absolutely leads its class (in steaming performance and noise dampening, in particular), but in other ways, it’s a throwback to some bad design choices (the portafilter without a spring clamp).
This machine is being imported into North America by Baratza, a new company that represents the Solis Brand on these shores. It, along with the Solis Crema SL-90, and the Solis Super Automatic machines represent the company’s complete line of machines.
The SL-70 is the lowest priced machine in the Solis lineup. It is an automatic, but still features excellent steam manual control.
Our first look will cover the machine’s featureset, so read on!
