Bottom Line: Looks cool sitting on the counter and really awesome while in action.  Great coffee and terrific for those moments you want elegance.
Positive Product Points

Reminds me of a time when things were made with care and craftmanship.  Coffee is amazingly clear and you can taste/smell all the aspects of what coffee is, nothing like the generic swill we put up with in the morning to wake us up.

Negative Product Points

Need to be careful and takes a bit longer to clean. May need to order parts because not sold in just any old store.

Detailed Commentary

Got mine through Ebay for $25 US.  Took awhile to find one complete. I enjoy using it and like having a filter rod instead of dealing with paper or baskets.  May need to experiment to find the right grind and method to use as these things are frequently found without instructions.  Mine Consists of top and bottom "bulbs" and filter rod, all made of glass, with no paper filter required.  Mine is used on the stovetop.
