A nice vacuum coffee maker if the price is low enough.
Positive Product Points
Lack of a rubber seal that will eventually fail with age. Coffee only contacts glass. You get to see it in action.
Negative Product Points
Slow pull down from weak vacuum. Small handle is flimsy and small.
Detailed Commentary
I bought this set off eBay for $29 when the rubber center gasket failed on my Sunbeam C30C. It is the smaller Cory that makes about 2 large cups of coffee. I liked the Deco look of the handle and lid and the price was reasonable. I like that the coffee only touches glass and that it should last a while if treated with care. The pull down is slow when compared to the Sunbeam and the glass Cory rod does not filter out every particle of grounds like the sunbeam filter did.
