Technically the ultimate in simpicity. Glass meets glass. No forcing of gasket on and off. A real PLUS. Not a hint of rubber odor. Very easy to clean with no gasket to work around.
Negative Product Points
Cory "New" Filter Rod is very good, but I have been using a Silex Lox-in to reduce the chance of grounds falling into the pot. A bit slower than a rubber gasket. Handle could "feel" a bit sturdier. This pot has no measuring levels on the side; that would be nice. Any vacuum brewer is a bit more work than automatic.
Detailed Commentary
A fine and simple tool for making excellent coffee. Not for those in a big hurry. Price varies. Mine was about $45.00 on eBay including shipping.
