Bottom Line: Excellent cup of coffee in an easy press for a great price.
Positive Product Points

This press is easy to use, creates a wonderful cup of coffee, has capacity for two to three real mugs of coffee, and cleans up easily.

Negative Product Points

During brewing time, the coffee loses noticable heat through the glass walls.

Detailed Commentary

This press came in a set from Target with the 8 cup press and two glass mugs for $20.  When combined with home roasted beans, this press makes one of the best, well-bodied cups of coffee I remember having.

In reality the "8 cup" size is a misnomer; it actually generates two to three (even stretching to four if its filled completely) real coffee mugs worth of great coffee.  The press is very quick and easy to take apart and clean, with most parts being dishwasher safe.

This press has been a joy for those late evening cups of coffee because there is so little prep time and cleanup, especially compared to espresso.

Buying Experience

It was a very easy off-the-shelf purchase at a great price.
