Detailed Commentary
I've owned this unit for about 6 months. It makes great tasting coffee but it requires much more coffee than I was used to in a drip coffeemaker.
Also, it is a real pain to clean this unit, as you have to flush the grounds down your disposal instead of just dumping a paper filter.
Finally, this coffeemaker stopped working about six weeks ago. The light came on, but no heat. I returned it to Bodum for repairs about one month ago and they STILL have it. When I've called them to check the status, their answer is: "Still waiting for parts". I've requested a new unit, which they will not provide. I would NOT buy this product or anything else from Bodum again. Very poor customer service.

UPDATE: I spoke with Bodum yesterday, and expressed my dissatisfaction with their customer service, mainly having my Santos for one month with no timetable on when I'd get it back. I was pleasantly surprised to see a brand new unit on my doorstep this morning. Hopefully, this one works for more than 6 months...
