Bottom Line: It won't replace my Saeco by any stretch...but it'll definitely see daily use.
Positive Product Points

Very flavourful cup of coffee
Quick - 5 minutes for a cup of coffee

Negative Product Points

None...some mention cleaning...we have a French Mandoline (a manual food processor)...multiple razor sharp blades that can take off your fingers...the Bialetti IS NOT hard to clean.

Detailed Commentary

I have a Saeco Aroma (see my review), burr grinder and Reg Barber tamper.  Great espresso but in the evenings I just want to make a quick cup of coffee while I relax with a good book and I don't feel like wasting 20 minutes of time and electricity to make 1 espresso.

Also, for years I've frequented Bistro Praha (a Chech bistro where I live) and alway loved their coffee
(along with their banana crepes and port).  In 15 years I could never get a cup of coffee like they make.  About 6 months ago I was chatting with the owner and he showed me his secret.  In the kitchen their was a shelf (must have been 15 Bialetti's) full of Moka pots.

I have coffee now that tastes just like theirs.

Buying Experience

Italian Centre Shop in Edmonton (Canada).  The typical little Italian supermarket in the Italian district of our city.   I priced these things out at a couple of specialty shops and they were all more expensive.
