Positive Product Points

Simple, portable, great tasting coffee.

Negative Product Points

Plastic, lots of associated parts, lack of market competition.

Detailed Commentary

This thing is awesome, its simple, it reminds me of stove top espresso in some ways, but the taste is cleaner and you can taste many more subtle flavors. The process is fun and makes a great show for curious guests. The filters are incredible cheap and there are options available if you search into laboratory vacuum filters. You can seek a finer grain filter, but the trade off is that it will require more pressure and elbow grease on your behalf.
Im a bit concerned with the use of plastic, and I fear the possibility of odors sticking to the surfaces. The plastic also poses the risk of breaks and warping. It's also a bit depressing that there aren't any other companies producing additions for the product.

Buying Experience

it was a gift

Three Month Followup

Still an excellent product. plastic parts are strong and do not effect flavor, haven't found any issues ordering filters or anything. great product.
