Detailed Commentary

The look and portability of this item are highly desireable.  With the easy removal of a few screws, the entire grinder can be dismantled, cleaned and stored for travel.  If you are looking to get some of that young luster back in your forearms, then this is the grinder for you.  This grinder is ideal for one to two people.  Adjustable grind, also makes this desireable for those wanting to experiment with new grinds and different brewing styles.

This Modern Turkish Mill doesn't seem to have the hardy, strudy feel of the older predicessors (possibly from the use of a thinner sheet of brass).  Also, the mill that I received was not aligned correctly, thus when grinding the grind is uneven (as the burrs are closer on one side, and farther on the other).

Buying Experience

This item was ordered with a shipment of various other items (beans, a scale, etc.) from Sweet Maria's.  As always, the transaction was very smooth, and even though I forgot to add an item, which I ordered later, they added them to the same package, and refunded the difference at my request.  Due to the beans the shipment was slightly delayed in customs (Japan), but arrived approximately five weeks after ordering.  The package was neat, and tightly packed (and padded).  Always a pleasure!
