Bought the silver Solis 166 for $186 from CoffeeCo and it looked good right out of the box. I ran some old beans through to clear some grease and grit and have only used the finest grind for my stovetop espresso pot.
It uses a timer rather than an on/off switch. I rather like that because I just have to remember which setting to dial to and I can walk away.
Bean chamber is all plastic and looks like it could break where it locks into the body. Careful use will avoid that of course.
