Positive Product Points

Great grind, variable settings is a nice bonus.  Bottom line is my espresso now tastes great.

Negative Product Points

Not sure why they made the grinding timer-based. An on/off operating procedure would be preferable.

Detailed Commentary

Best part of the deal - it was on sale for $129 for Mothers Day.  I‘m getting great shots with loads ‘o crema with a Delonghi pump machine.  I hope my mom doesn‘t read that last sentence... This is also the only burr grinder I‘ve been able to find in a store in my city.  I‘ve tried the Braun espresso mill at a friend‘s house and there‘s no comparison - the Starbucks machine produces a much finer grind, certainly fine enough for my espresso machine.  I haven‘t seen the need to do the ‘Solis adjustment‘ which I‘ve read about with other reviews of this product.  I assume that‘s mostly for high-end machines.
