I think this is a good grinder for the price. The only reason I said maybe I would buy it again is, if there is a better replacement, I'd consider that.
Negative Product Points
There is a big problem with static and ground coffee flying everywhere. I usually wet down the plastic bin before grinding - it really helps. Can't really get into the plastic container to clean out ground coffee.
Detailed Commentary
I had a Braun blade grinder before this one - it burned out because I had been cleaning it by running the blades under water. Ooops - guess some water got into the housing! I didn't want another blade grinder. This is WAY better than a blade grinder anyway. I know how important it is to have the correct grind for brewing method and this is an inexpensive way to achieve that. I have a French Press, a percolater (not the best way to brew) and a drip. I'm off the French Press for now - too bitter and am satisfied with the coffee that is brewed using a $19.99 Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker.
This grinder is quick, quiet and accurately grinds to your selection. I like the way the grinder looks sitting on the counter and sometimes will leave beans in the hopper (not for more than a day).
Can anyone share with me how you clean your grinder - how often and cleaning method? I thought I was supposed to remove the burrs once/month to clean, but wasn't able to move them. I have the brush and use that but thought some of the interior parts come out.
