Decent grinder for the money, but if you're in the UK, go with the Dualit version.
Positive Product Points
Same as the Dualit that I bought in Canterbury last year - easy to use, clean and maintain.
Negative Product Points
Very staticky, great for larger settings, kind of lousy for espresso
Detailed Commentary
I've had the Dualit for over a year. Now that I'm back in the States, our outlet power isn't strong enough for it to work - sturdy grinder, though, and very strong on the larger settings. Perfect if you only use drip machines or presses.
I did experience a lot of static problems with this grinder, but no more really than other burr grinders. It's head and shoulders above the other grinders sold at Starbuck's, certainly. I wish I could get mine working again and not have to purchase yet another grinder! The one advantage I guess from buying at Starbuck's is that you have that big box warranty so that if things do go awry you can easily get the grinder replaced.
Buying Experience
Starbuck's - large, gropey and oversaturated. I recommend finding the Dualit version.
