Bottom Line: Save your money for a decent grinder!

Nice set of burrs.

Ground coffee hangs up in shute.
Very bad static problem, grounds won't come out of bin.
Messy to use- coffee everywhere.

Detailed Commentary

I used this grinder for about 6 months and gave it to my dad.  It was unpleasent to use, messy and hard to clean, not to mention noisy!

I bought it to use with a Solis Espresso machine, but it just could not grind fine or consistant enough for espresso.  There is a modification you can do- details on the Sweet Marias site- that allows it to grind finer, but even after doing the mod I was still disapointed.  I actually had to give up on espresso untill I bought a better grinder.

It did ok for drip coffee, but it is such a pain to use, I actually prefer a whirly blade grinder.  Of course my dad, who is not a coffee snob loves it!

Buying Experience

Sweet Marias is my online addiction supplier!  Tom and Maria are tops!!
