Michael Smith (quality: 9.5)
01.14.2010
Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: On 3-month follow-up, I'm still extremely pleased with this grinder.
Donnie W (quality: 9.0)
09.01.2009
Rating: 8.6
Bottom Line: An excellent grinder that will accomodate every type of coffee grind. More grinder than most people will ever need.
Derek Fong (quality: 8.8)
10.11.2006
Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: Excellent grinder for the price: easy to use; nice doserless design that is good for home use; the Rocky gets you the 97th percentile of performance--you'd spend 2-3 times more to eek out 1-2% more performance
Rick Waits (quality: 8.6)
09.22.2003
Rating: 8.0
Bottom Line: "Rocky" is a good name for it. It well describes this tough, durable grinder.
Sandy Andina (quality: 8.6)
08.22.2005
Rating: 8.8
Bottom Line: If you cannot drop $500 for a Mazzer (or find one used as cheaply as I did), you cannot do better than a Rocky. For most purposes, it may well be the last grinder you'll need: a Mazzer may be a Rolls-Royce, but driving a Lexus is no hardship .
Tony Gilnett (quality: 8.5)
01.26.2003
Rating: 8.6
Bottom Line: Excelent grinder for price.
Tim Eggers (quality: 8.5)
02.12.2007
Rating: 8.8
Bottom Line: If you're on a budget, can only have one grinder in your house and make many different types of coffee, you can't go wrong with a Rancilio Rocky Doserless! Highly recommended!
Rob Novak (quality: 8.4)
01.23.2004
Rating: 9.2
Bottom Line: A real workhorse that should serve its owner for years.
Koray Ipek (quality: 8.1)
03.19.2005
Rating: 8.6
Bottom Line: A great grinder, solid, no gimmicks, just quality and great performance.
Bob J (quality: 8.0)
01.05.2007
Rating: 9.6
Bottom Line: Bottmline.... Your coffee will taste as good as your weakest link, don't skimp on any one piece and especially your grinder.
Ryan Smith (quality: 7.8)
02.16.2008
Rating: 6.0
Bottom Line: Requires a couple of workarounds to live up to the hype; Good choice for home users not ready to commit to the large dosered Mazzers, Macaps, etc.
Michael Sacco (quality: 7.8)
01.19.2005
Rating: 9.4
Bottom Line: Rock Solid! Consistent Grind. A Classic.
Vincent Sapone (quality: 7.8)
03.28.2006
Rating: 7.8
Bottom Line: great grinder
Dan Kehn (quality: 7.7)
06.09.2003
Rating: 8.6
Bottom Line: Consistent and rugged, Rocky is still the champ! The doserless avoids stale grounds and mess
Tom O (quality: 7.7)
03.19.2004
Rating: 7.6
Bottom Line: A good grind requires a good vacuum.
Teemu Pihlatie (quality: 7.5)
04.19.2005
Rating: 7.6
Bottom Line: A competitively priced doserless grinder - and among the best of its kind
David Nielsen (quality: 7.4)
03.08.2003
Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: Great grinder whether it is the dosered or doserless model!
James Hainsworth (quality: 7.3)
08.05.2005
Rating: 8.4
Bottom Line: Great grinder, consistent, easy, versatile, and Rock(y) solid.
Tom Bodet (quality: 7.2)
09.06.2005
Rating: 7.0
Bottom Line: Stylish, quiet, does a great job but not worth the money due to the burr carrier tolerance problem.
Thomas Gauperaa (quality: 7.1)
04.05.2003
Rating: 7.2
Bottom Line: The classic, rock solid espresso grinder without doser, no advantage
