Positive Product Points
Superb, Well engineered product. Is fast and comparatively quiet to previous grinder (Braun KM30). Accurate dispensing of coffee from doser.
Negative Product Points
Big Really Big! This grinder is unbelievably big (paraphrasing the late DNA). If the grinder is not set up near to your grind can easily go through a pound of beans dialing it in the first time.
Detailed Commentary
This is an all Pro grinder. Built like a Brick *(&(. It will occupy a great deal of real estate on your counter. If you keep the hopper on it will not be able to slide under any kitchen counter. (I have posted an easy wok around - If you get one of these beasties and if you want to slide it under overhead kitchen cupboards. The catalogue for this unit includes a magnetic seperator that fits inside the hopper - at first it looked like a through back to the Maple Leafs of the 1970's (pyramid and magnetic powers) but after finding some "miscellaneaous metal" in one batch of beans I can see it's usefulness. This unit was designed to be used in a busy espresso bar! It will handle almost any espresso machines grinding requirements while barely breaking a sweat.
Buying Experience
I was lucky enough to get a real steal on this unit (a local espresso cafe was closing). If I got the chance again would I buy it YES!
