Positive Product Points

built like a tank with nice stepless grinding adjustment. Also i like the shorter hopper so it will fit underneath standard kitchen cabs.

Negative Product Points

hard to see grinder settings. No 'notches' available on collar. Bad design.

Detailed Commentary

- rock solid
- The Macap has a black plastic "beauty rim" cover overtop the metal collar adjustment but since the markings are spaced apart it makes difficult to see in low light. Marking its adjustment collar with a white grease pencil works well as a reminder of your starting points for widely-space grind settings. In very general terms, a single increment on the Macap represents about six seconds of pour time.
- incredibly quiet!
- The low profile hopper allows it to fit underneath most 18" kitchen cabinets.

Buying Experience

Would buy this machine again.
