Detailed Commentary
I've held-off buying a "burr" grinder for several years now. My krups blade unit has served me adequately for over 5 years, and it still running strong. I guess I was sucked-in by the lure of the "burr" grinder elite status....but alas, I also cheaped-out and got this model. I had been eyeballing the Cuisinart model for a while, but had to order a replacement part for my Krups blender online, and decided to impulse purchase this unit at the same time.
I can grind coffee more consistently and quickly with my old blade grinder.
I am LITERALLY sending this unit back to Krups after only a week of ownership.
Buying Experience
Krups online shipping was slow, as was customer service responsiveness. Additionally - my order was LITERALLY duplicated: I was sent two Grinders, of which I'm now going to be returning BOTH. Such a hassle... I'm not impressed with ordering factory-direct from Krups.
