Lousy machine, my first inexpensive grinder worked much better.
Positive Product Points
My first one of these worked fairly well until it broke after about 1 year.
Negative Product Points
My second one never worked properly, grind was inconsistent. Took that one back and the third one was even worse. Poor grind consistency, grind always fine,fine,fine. top gets stuck in place and can't be removed.
Detailed Commentary
Overall very disappointed with this product. Inconsistent grind, top gets stuck, grind very fine when coarse was desired, unable to adjust grind, returned grinder and got another with equal problems. Bed Bath and Beyond where I bought it was good about returns but I didn't want returns, I wanted a burr grinder that gave consistently good results. this was not a decent burr grinder though it did lead me to this web site where I hope to find a decent, consistent burr grinder at an affordable price.
