I disagree that burr grinders are necessary for everyone for good quality of life. If you want one because it looks cool, fine. But it's not fair to tell others they must have it for a good cup of coffee because for most people who want simple drip brews, it just isn't true. If you use a drip machine and give the blade grinder a few extra seconds, all the particles will be the same size. When I use a press I know to leave them bigger. It's a simple system. Beware of enterprises requiring expensive machines.
