KitchenAid's redesign of a 1930s style coffee grinder, suitable for espresso to press pot.
Wayne Peterson (quality: 4.5)
12.08.2004
Rating: 8.8
Bottom Line: Bulletproof, well-built, simple and fun machine (if you'll make Eric's modification for espresso).
Gillian Logan (quality: 5.3)
11.19.2004
Rating: 4.4
Bottom Line: I had high hopes; sadly still searching for a good grinder under 400 dollars.
Kirstin V (quality: 6.6)
11.17.2004
Rating: 7.6
Bottom Line: Looks really cool on the counter & built like a tank but grinds rather unevenly... good for drip but not so hot for French Press...
Keith McCandlish (quality: 2.5)
09.12.2004
Rating: 3.2
Bottom Line: Great idea, good looks but a lack of customer service makes this a risky purchase and it does not grind fine enough for espresso.
Jon Rosenthal (quality: 4.2)
09.10.2004
Rating: 8.2
Bottom Line: Maybe the best grinder anywhere (for Drip and French Press) for the money.
Erik Francey (quality: 5.6)
07.06.2004
Rating: 7.6
Bottom Line: Good machine, must be modded to do espresso, no replacement parts???
Reed Nelson (quality: 6.2)

Rating: 5.0
Bottom Line: A great looking product with very poor design and performance.
Ron Eric Edrosa (quality: 6.0)
04.08.2004
Rating: 7.2
Bottom Line: Get your toothpick out to remove leftover grinds...but otherwise a nice sturdy machine.
Coffee Girl (quality: 5.0)

Rating: 5.8
Bottom Line: Great Looks, very unsatisfactory performance.
Lin Carol (quality: 4.7)

Rating: 6.4
Bottom Line: "Don't waste your money on this piece of junk."
RA Schuppe (quality: 5.8)
01.09.2004
Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: Good solid, powerful, grinder that works for me (vac-pot & Moka Brew).
C W (quality: 6.9)
12.25.2003
Rating: 8.0
Bottom Line: Great at grinding for drip brew, but get used to cleaning the chute with toothpicks.
R Long (quality: 5.5)
11.24.2003
Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: Grinder is easy to use. I don't mind the excess ground coffee on the counter given that the coffee taste is wonderful. What does rpm really have to do with it if there is no static and the taste is great?
Lance Goffinet (quality: 8.1)
11.11.2003
Rating: 8.2
Bottom Line: A fantastic grinder for drip, vacuum pot, and french press; does not grind fine enough for espresso.
