Detailed Commentary
This grinder is far superior to other grinders I've used for many reasons, e.g., it has commercial qualty stainless steel burrs that not only are designed to grind 600 lbs. of coffee over their lifetime but are replaceable when worn; it is very easy to use with its simple, straightforward engineering design; the manual is so well written that it's a breeze to take apart and clean or, if needed, to adjust the grind fineness for turkish coffee; the bean hopper and grounds jars are both glass for durabilty, beauty and NO STATIC; and, bottom line: the performance of this machine is outstanding, producing uniform, well-proportioned grounds consistently -- perfect for french press, drip and espresso. And, it's beautiful! It absolutely outshines the competition and is the best grinder I've seen and used, including a $1000 italian unit previously under consideration.
Buying Experience
I would've bought it at WS but was told, erroneously, that they no longer carried it, so I checked out Amazon and found it on sale in the gorgeous empire red color -- a showpiece that arrived in two days.
