Bottom Line: Great for medium and coarse grind brewing.
Positive Product Points

Solid case, motor, hopper, and electrical components. When properly adjusted it will provide suitable grinds for most brewing methods.

Negative Product Points

Very fragile collection bin, not great for fine grind brewing techniques.

Detailed Commentary

Although the glass bin used to collect the grinds does not have a static cling problem, the bin is very fragile. After mine developed a crack I replaced it with a candle jar 3 1/2" tall and 3" diameter that I bought from a specialy jar company for about half the price of a KA part.

I usually brew in my Bunn drip machine but will sometimes use my French press. I prefer the flavor when I use finer grinds than normally used for these techniques.. I haven't had problems with grinds for either of these.

I am a once a day brewer. I haven't done a tear down, clean, and reassemble on the grinder yet. I haven't had any mechanical issues.

Buying Experience

Amazon has always provided the example of what good internet retailing should be.

Three Month Followup

Goo to go.

One Year Followup

Still going strong. The candle jar is a great alternative grind hopper.
