Bottom Line: It's "Beauty is onlySkin Deep".  as in Handsome machine, ugly grinds.
Positive Product Points

Awesome, rugged look.
Minimal plastic used in construction.
Price can't be beat ($99.95 for new grinder, shipping from Amazon.com was free!)

Negative Product Points

Inconsistent grind.
Grinds get all over the place around grinder.
Beans get hung up inside grinder.

Detailed Commentary

I aways liked this grinder in the looks department.  It is definitely a "looker".  When I found out that I could get it for only $99.95 NEW on Amazon.com, with FREE shipping, I jumped at the chance.  I enjoy using the grinder except for one very important detail:  inconsistent grinds.  For a grinder from such a noteworthy company as Kitchenaid to produce such a grinder that makes inconsistent grinds is outrageous.  I know that I only paid $99.95 for it (saving grace for this purchase), but still I am very disappointed in that the grinders are powder/chunk variety.

Buying Experience

Excellent.  Amazon.com cannot be beat as far as I am concerned.
