KitchenAid's new Proline grinder, with a straight path for the beans, glass hoppers and catchers, and grind settings from espresso to press pot.
Jeffrey Ellis (quality: 6.0)

Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: Sturdy and Dependable, quiet, consistent. After two years of heavy usage, it's still going stong
Gino Magnotta (quality: 8.3)
05.14.2008
Rating: 6.2
Bottom Line: Has some very good features to it, and could have been an excellent grinder. Has fundamental flaws however which lets it down badly.
Jack Otter (quality: 7.0)
03.09.2008
Rating: 9.0
Bottom Line: Versitile, consistant, and built to last- this little beauty is a beast of a grinder.

Randall Ehren (quality: 7.7)

Rating: 7.4
Bottom Line: If you like to mod products and can get this for cheap, it may be for you, otherwise, buy something better.

Bottom Line: It's "Beauty is onlySkin Deep". as in Handsome machine, ugly grinds.
Kent Simmons (quality: 7.3)
05.01.2007
Rating: 7.4
Bottom Line: A great machine IF you like your coffee French or if you like espresso - but its not capable of both grinds without recallibration.
Randall Nortman (quality: 8.0)
04.28.2007
Rating: 7.0
Bottom Line: A heavy, solidly built piece of counter jewelry that does everything you'd want other than grind coffee well.
Mike Wisniewski (quality: 5.3)
04.06.2007
Rating: 6.0
Bottom Line: Expensive Grinder for Drip and Press, not worth it for Espresso.
Donny Raus (quality: 8.7)
02.02.2007
Rating: 7.6
Bottom Line: There are better grinders that deliver a more uniform/consistent grind at a lower cost. However, if aesthetics, usability, and hopper capacity are priority and your willing to compromise the grind and beverage quality this machine is for you.
Ellem Weaman (quality: 4.0)

Rating: 8.6
Bottom Line: If you live in moderation this is a great grinder.
Tom Lewis (quality: 5.8)
12.26.2006
Rating: 8.8
Bottom Line: Industrial strength grinder ! Killer grinder for drip and/or press pot - can do fine espresso grinds too, but not easily
John Boddie (quality: 5.4)
11.24.2006
Rating: 9.8
Bottom Line: When I was using my Solis Maestro, I always felt that I’d have to upgrade at some point. With the Proline, I don’t have that feeling any more.
Joel Finkelstein (quality: 5.3)
11.16.2006
Rating: 7.2
Bottom Line: Great grinder once you realize grinds only look too big. I only wish it didn't trap so many beans or was easy to clean on a daily basis.
Richard Abrams (quality: 7.0)
09.08.2006
Rating: 8.4
Bottom Line: Acceptable value well made machine which contributes to making Italian coffee bar standard home espresso.
Jeff Sheltren (quality: 7.6)
09.05.2006
Rating: 8.6
Bottom Line: Very sturdy, glass catcher prevents static in the grounds and is easy to clean; gives a nice, even grind.
Bill Miano (quality: 9.2)
07.17.2006
Rating: 5.6
Bottom Line: Good grinder for press or drip, but it falters trying to consistently grind for espresso. Make sure that you buy from a vendor with a good return policy.
Clemens Anhuth (quality: 7.3)

Rating: 8.8
Bottom Line: One of the, or maybe the best choice for home use in my opinion - if it performs adequately.
