Detailed Commentary

Tired of the boulder and dust from my blade grinder, I bought what I thought was a affordable solution  to great coffee on the road. The great coffee was correct now if only it was designed and built better.

It is nearly impossible to use with one person. There is simply no place to hold on to the unit while grinding. The one place you can hold it exposes your knuckles to the mercy of handle and I have small hands.  I had to resort to jamming it into the corner of the sink with the bottom firmly planted in my aeropress for support. Even then it was difficult at best. A strap wrench should have been supplied in the package. Maybe then one person could operated it without the aid of a sink.

To top things off, the lower ceramic section split in two on day four after only 6 uses/35 aeropress scoops.

This item is cheap not inexpensive. I would not recommend this if it were free. Now I have to spend an hour and 5 bucks worth of gas to return it.

Buying Experience

Great as is usually the case at MEC
