Positive Product Points

Very even grinding, way more grinding grades than the average Joe is ever going to need

Negative Product Points

Dosing mechanism that almost invariably leads to stale coffee and inaccurate dosing

Detailed Commentary

Great grinding, no doubt about that, but dosing mechanism a severe drawback in my opinion. In my book the purpose of a grinder with dosing mechanism is to a) produce freshly ground coffee and b) dispense it accurately. In order to achieve near-accurate dosing with the MDF you will have to first grind a fair amount to adequately fill all the dosing slots of the machine, otherwise every dispensed dose will be different. Unless you really drink a lot, considerably more than my three to five daily shots at least, this will invariably lead to stale coffee sitting in your machine and thus defeat the purpose of the whole concept. Further, I used the grinder with a Gaggia Coffee and found the dispensed amounts of ground coffee never adequate even when the dosing slots were maximally filled. Unfortunately, bypassing the dosing mechanism is awkward at best and not an attractive alternative. In summary, given the amount of coffee I drink, this device does not "work" for me and I would not buy it again.
