Positive Product Points

Well, its sturdy. Ive had mine for at least 6 years and it hasnt missed a beat. The coffee grind is consistent and its relatively quiet.

Negative Product Points

My main complaint is the doser. For this reason, I use it to grind the coffee only then I freeze the result in an airtight container. The problem is that the doser will dispense either too little (one pull) or too much (two pulls) for either of my two Pavonis. Its the same for my Rivera. Additionally, the portafiler fits awkwardly in the dosing holder. It over heated and quit (temporarily) once after grinding a pound of coffee. I keep my beans in the freezer until I grind them and Im not sure if that helps or harms the motor during grinding. The good news is that it dispenses just the  right amount for my Pasquini Livia Automatic.

Detailed Commentary

I paid $299 and would buy one again if I had the need. The others Ive seen in this category (burr grinders) cost more for the same basic hardware.
