Detailed Commentary
At first I thought it was not working right when I would grind for about 30 seconds and get no coffee at the first pull. You need to grind for longer and the first couple of pulls are a waste - but after that you get fairly regular doses. In case you are wondering, I do not think any grinder with a doser has gotten that aspect right. I normally will make a couple cups at a time, and have found that by grinding for about a minute I consistently get enough coffee and able to dose it correctly. If you are having company and will be serving more - grind longer and fill the doser.
You have plenty enough settings for any style of coffee, and the 5 extra settings are not missed since they are at the extreeme coase end of the spectrum. However, if you are making anything but espresso, it is a slight hassle to dump the grinds into something in order to transfer them to your filter or coffee maker.
