I'm going to donated this to charity. Don't bother with this product - there are blade grinders that can do a far better job for less money.
Positive Product Points
I can't think of any - maybe the style, a professional wannabe w/ see-thru hopper
Negative Product Points
Coffee is way to powdery, even when set on coarsest grind
Path from burr grinder to collection unit easily gets clogged
Tablespoon timer can allow unit to run over 1 minute, overheating the unit
Detailed Commentary
I read online reviews (on another site) for this grinder and it sounded great. So, I went online and bought one. When I opened the box was disappointed in the size...much smaller than I expected after seeing pictures.
My first test was to grind some beans for my automatic drip coffee maker. I set the base dial to the middle and got espresso powder. I set the dial to coarse and got coarse espresso powder. Well, no big deal for drip coffee, but the coarsest setting is supposed to be for French Press - this is way to fine for that unless you like grit in your teeth.
On another occasion I set the dial to espresso grind and the chute that directs the ground coffee into the collection unit got clogged.
The appearance is cool if you don't know anything about coffee equipement. I'll stick with my Krupps blade grinder until I find something better.
Buying Experience
Bought through an Internet vendor who was competitively priced and prompt with shipping. These are everywhere, so it shouldn't be hard to find. Hey, e-mail me and I'll send you mine...real cheap!
