Extremely durable. Uniform grind with good grind control. Does not need much regular attention.
Negative Product Points
Static buildup in grinds can make mess. Very oily beans can stick in hopper requiring intervention.
Detailed Commentary
We use this machine at work 5 days per week, probably 6 to 8 times per day, 2x each session (required to make enough grinds). This has gone on for nearly 3 years and this grinder keeps going, and going, and going ... It has outlived two coffee machines. I am really impressed with this durability.
I loved this one so much I bought my own for home use and it works great with my Technivorm drip. Together they make awesome coffee.
My only two complaints is the tendency for static build-up and the occasional stickiness with really oily beans. I spoke to some folks at Peet's and these problems do not sound unique to the Capresso so I guess I can't fault the machine. Because of the stickiness the amount you get for a timed grind varies so I rely on weight. It would be cool if there were a built in scale and you could dial in an amount!
