If you get one that works and don't have to deal with Capresso, it's an excellent grinder.
Positive Product Points
Extremely consistent grind, no static cling, reasonably quiet.
Negative Product Points
Bought a second Infinity as a gift. It was DOA and Capresso flatly refused to replace it. They do not stand behind their products.
Detailed Commentary
The metal bodied version of this grinder has a high quality feel that is not easily found in any product these days. It feels like it will last 50 years. The chrome finish of the unit looks great on the kitchen counter. I make mostly drip coffee and I have no problem getting consistent results. The grind container pours cleanly into the filter and the freedom from static keeps grinds from scattering.
Update - Bought an additional unit as a gift and the motor was wired incorrectly and turned backwards. Capresso flatly refused to replace the product and told me I had to send it to them for repair. Attempts to escallate to Capresso management ignored. I was told by their receptionist that any complaints had to be submitted in writing. This company does not stand behind their products.
Returned the gift to the retailer and will never buy a Capresso product again.
