A good value for someone who know's coffee, but doesn't want to drop a small fortune on professional grade equipment.
Positive Product Points
Easy to fill w/beans, easy to adjust grind, not as noisy as old grinder, not a behemoth on the counter.
Negative Product Points
Plastic ground coffee tray can get sticky as ground coffee fills compartment, making it hard to slide all the way in place. Static can cause grounds to 'fly, although not as bad as last grinder (Solis Mulino).
Detailed Commentary
Had opportunity to view and try grinders during trip to Uptown Minneapolis. Tried Solis Meastro, Baratza, Rocky and Ascaso offerings. Felt the grind size variety and quietness of the Capresso Infinity was comparable to models costing 2 to 3 times as much. I don't drink much espresso, so I didn't care about the machine's ability with finer grind ranges. My last grinder sounded like a Nascar race, so placed a high value on something quieter this time around. Bought on line for app $85. Of course, the big question is how long the mechanism will last. Stay tuned.
