Detailed Commentary

I wish I had found CoffeeGeek reviews before buying this grinder.  What a dissapointment.  I knew I was buying an inexpensive machine, but I didn't expect it to be so bad.  The plastic finish was not good at all; kind of scratched, but not from pre-use, I don't think.  It just looked like it was made poorly.  The hopper is large, almost too large unless you really grind a lot of coffee.  I don't need a 1/2 lb of coffee sitting out on the counter, but you might.  The absolute finest grind MIGHT get you buy for your old Mr. Coffee machine, but that's about it -- there is no way you can make espresso with this grinder, no matter what kind of machine you have.  This grinder is noisy and it produces static like a Van de Graaff generator.  Slightly better than crushing the beans with a hammer.

Buying Experience

Buying on-line was fine, but I should have done my homework.
