Waste of time for Espresso. Should have put the money towards a better grinder. Live and learn.
Positive Product Points
Inexpensive. Decent size hopper. Small footprint.
Negative Product Points
Can't grind fine enough for espresso. LOUD. Catch tray design is awkward. No off button.
Detailed Commentary
Just starting out in home espresso making, we just didn't know any better. Assumed that anything offered by Williams Sonoma would be appropriate. Oh well. It's so LOUD we take it out to the garage to use it. I spill grinds all over the place when I take the top off the catcher. It can't grind anything close to fine enough to use for espresso. Other than it being cheap, not much positive to say about it. The hopper is a decent size. There is no "off" button. So you slide the quantity bar to 0. Labeling is horrible. So I had to put a sticker on it to remember which way to turn the grind selector for coarseness.
Buying Experience
Typical Williams Sonoma. Friendly. Tried to be helpful.
