I bought this grinder several years ago. My primary interest was espresso, but I also needed to use it for a french press. This was replacing my ?Krupps? burr grinder.
First the good news, my pots of french press were a _lot_ better. The grind was so much more consistent. And with the large burrs, I didn't have to worry about burning the beans.
Now the bad news:
- you can't dial it down for espresso. Can't even get close. Bunn even replaced the burrs for free. - the chute to the burrs should probably be steeper, as the last 1/4 of coffee will get "stuck", and you have to shake the grinder to get them down - the grind adjuster is in the hopper with the beans.
