Formidable grinder, with a good range of grind settings, although somewhat of a noisy machine
Positive Product Points
15 grind settings, heavy, sturdy design, doser or storage container included, styling similar to Gaggia's MDF
Negative Product Points
Rather loud, tends to spew forth small quantities of coffee grounds which have missed the doser during the grind process.
Detailed Commentary
Purchased from Whittard of Chelsea for £70 ($115?), excellent grind range, from coarse to talcum-powder grind. It suits both my needs, as it will grind coarse enough for my cafetiere and fine enough for my espresso machine. The lowest setting of all is extremely fine, and often grinds of such consistency tend to clog the chute. The heavy base means the grinder stays where it is during use. Included attachments snap on and off with ease, and cleaning of these is straightforward. Build quality is admirable, although the doser does not fit as snugly to the main unit as I would have liked.
