Takes up some space on the counter, doesn't grind fine enough, kinda hard to clean.

Detailed Commentary

I received this grinder as a wedding gift after registering for it from The Bay. I've only owned blade grinders as I haven't been able to find an affordable burr grinder so this is definitely a step up. I haven't been using it too long & although this grinder grinds much finer grinds than my old blade grinder, it still doesn't grind the beans fine enough. The consistency of the grind is excellent & I enjoy the storage bin for ground espresso. After reading on this site, I'm going to look into doing the mod to get a finer grind.

Buying Experience

Received as a wedding gift.

Three Month Followup

I've modified this grinder (remove plastic tab) to produce an even finer grind of coffee. Works so much better now, although I wish I could grind the coffee straight into my porta filter rather than into the plastic container.

One Year Followup

After modifying the grinder to produce an even finer grind, I have had no problems with this machine. Still works great!
