Well it's cheap. It does make something shredded.. but it's portable, light weight.
Negative Product Points
Heats up the grounds. Is nowhere near uniform as expected.
Detailed Commentary
This is a simple whirly-blade 'grinder' which produces output that will give the taste of the coffee in a french press. Although switching to a Macap MC4 is a large jump it showed how bad this is - even for french press but it's small, and portable. Question is - would a hand conical burr grinder be better - yes for medium/espresso.. but for basic french press this would do.
Operation is easy - beans in. Press top down for a cacophony of noise until grinds look (on average) right and then stop. Turn upside down and the grounds are ready to be used. Cleaning is easy but the blades don't separate from the body.
Would I by again - we'll I would be tempted to get a hand mill for portable grinding.
Buying Experience
Bought in a retail outlet in the UK. Nothing out of the ordinary.
