Large capacity for home use. Static scatters coffee everywhere.
Positive Product Points
Large hopper for beans, and adequate size hopper for ground coffee. Consistent grind, but not for espresso.
Negative Product Points
Grinder is a bit large. Takes up about as much counter space as a drip coffee maker.
Used to live in Southern California and didn‘t have much of a problem with static. Moved to Pacific Northwest and have had a terrible time with static. Actually swept about a tablespoon of coffee from the counter once after trying to pour ground coffee into another plastic container.
Static seems to subside if you grind the coffee, then wait an hour or so before dumping it. Not that anyone would want to do that.
Detailed Commentary
Saw this grinder (when it first came out) for about $150 in Starbucks catalog. Got it at Crate & Barrel for approximately $70.
