Detailed Commentary
I bought one of these about a year ago. I use it less often than I should, twice a week on average. I'd say I probably went through as little as 10kg for the entire life of the unit before the motor seized. My friend's grinder barely made it a couple months. Apparently there's even a whole 2.0 model replacement gearbox assembly to get now. That said, man, when it worked it was as nice as the quickshot review made it look. I will also say Baratza has been really nice and took care of everything. Maybe we're just a fluke but I kinda doubt it.
