Detailed Commentary
For me this is a move up from the Braun burr grinder, so I'm not qualified to judge it against anything fancier. I'm happy with it -- it's pretty quiet as grinders go, looks nice, and for drip coffee it's working fine -- I get maybe a little dust, but not enough to worry about. Results are tasty.
My only complaint is that if your fingers are wet it's hard to pull out the little canister that the grounds go into. On most grinders you can easily grab hold of the canister but here It's recessed pretty far into the machine, and there's no handle or projection to hang onto, so you have to kind of squeeze the top two corners with thumb and forefinger and pull. Not a grinder for the arthritic.
