Doser works awesome

Negative Product Points

grinds clump in passage to doser (doser fixed that)
portafilter fork wont support all models (take it off)
setting the grind takes for ever, (accuracy has its price)
hopper not fastened in...
DOSER IS DIFFICULT TO REATTACH,

Detailed Commentary

when i first opened the box i was surprised at how simple it was to set up and go, just put the hopper on, fill it and go. the standard setting was close for me... that is it only took 3 minutes worth of turning before i found my grind as opposed to 10. now that it is dialed in however, minor adjustments are extremely accurate and very easy to keep up with.

I turned it on... a bit noisy but aren't they all? And for this price, my roommates will live with it. I got this grinder down to a turkish coffee which surprised me very much.
the grinds into the doser seem to clump, this is an issue had seen in reviews for the doserless model which is why i chose the doser, which solves that problem wonderfully. be warned however that like all machines, oily beans will clump, and unless you dose as you grind, this may become an issue.

The hopper is merely wedged into the burr group without any support screws, it hasn't caused any issues yet but i am afraid that one day it may tumble off while full. we'll see.

When I removed the Doser to clean it all seemed well, but reattaching the doser is very difficult. In order to get the screws tight you have to remove the bottom and go in from under to grab the bolts from behind.

Buying Experience

1st-line was as always nice and helpful, i had lost my order number and received an e-mail from "Jim," within minutes not only helping me with my order number but providing me with better shipping insuring that i got the grinder earlier while paying less.

Three Month Followup

Still runs awesome. Took apart and cleaned out the burrs last week, everything comes apart and fits together smoothly and cleaning this thing is really easy. Using a lighter roast practically eliminates clumping in the feed to the doser.
I would definitely buy this one again.
