Exceedingly easy to use and clean. Excellent brew temp (measured at 196). Sleek and stylish.
Negative Product Points
A bit light in weight. Would have been nice to have a weighted plate on the base for stability. A retractable cord would have been nice. Also the cover for the filler hole in the lid just sits in place rather than snapping in.
Detailed Commentary
This is my first direct thermal brewer and I must say I'm sorry I waited so long. What a Fabulous product!. Excellent Brew temps. Quick for not being a Bunn, Fairly quiet. I also bought a Swiss Gold filter for it. Do not follow the manufacturers guide to use a #4 filter as it si slightly to large, use a #2 instead it works perfectly. Brews an OUTSTANDING cup o' joe. What amazes me most though is that the thermal pot will keep the coffee piping hot for 6+ hours and even more if you are willing to drink it a little less than optimal drinking temp. For a carafe that is not glass lined this is excellent performance. What I love most about this is that it is great for short day road trips. Just bew and take the pot with you. No need to exercise extra caution because of a glass liner. IMHO this is the finest Drip system available at any price. I liked it so much that I bought a 2 more! One for the office and one as a back up in case they stop making them and one wears out. If you are looking for a new drip brewer do not hesitate to get this one, you will be one happy camper.
