This is a nice coffee maker considering the price. I looked at many high-end makers and dollar for dollar this unit was the best that I found.
Negative Product Points
No real problems, although I am not a huge fan of the spin on lid.
Detailed Commentary
I like the stainless thermal carafe; the fact that there is no heating element used to keep the coffee burning on a hot plate is great. The brewed coffee enters the carafe at 185 deg and stays warm for a while. While this may not be the “best” brew temp it is better than what I had prior to buying this pot. I did not have any trouble in buying a gold filter for the coffee maker as some have reported. I also like the idea that the entire basket is removable for cleaning. I have not used the timer, but the clock is easy to program. The shut off feature is great.
