Bottom Line:
An adequate entry level machine if you intend to make rather large quantities of coffee for your family.
Positive Product Points
Consistent, flavorful coffee from an easy to use inexpensive machine.
Negative Product Points
Does not yield good results when making only 1-3 cups due to the flat bottomed coffee ground reservoir. The plastic on the glass pot lid stained almost at once.
Detailed Commentary
The price was about US$40.00. For this price I have to say that the unit has been trouble free and would proably be fine for most users. I only drink 1-3 cups every other day, but I am rather picky about the taste. After much thought, I recently purchased a Starbuck‘s machine. My experience with any of the machines that warm from the bottom is that they are inferior. I like the Starbuck‘s machine, but am somewhat leary of its sturdiness. I had hoped for a design that was more rugged, but I‘ll see!
