Water is not hot enough Poor durability. Something this expensive should last longer than 6 weeks.
Detailed Commentary
In thirty years of marriage, my wife and I had three coffee makers. When the third one died three months ago, we purchased a Waring Pro coffee maker. We have now had six coffeemakers in our 30 years of marriage.
The Waring Pro coffee maker has a blue light that is supposed to light up when you need to add water to the resevoir. About six weeks after we got the coffee maker, the blue light was on constantly, even when the resevoir was full. About a week after that, the coffee maker tripped the ground fault breaker on our kitchen appliance circuit. If I reset the breaker, it would trip again when you turned on the coffeemaker. So I tried to take it back to Fry's , but they don't do exchanges or refunds after 30 days. Fortunately, there is a Waring Pro repair shop "only" fifteen miles from my home. I took the coffee maker to the repairshop. They got it replaced for me. It took about two weeks to get the replacement. About a week after getting the new coffeemaker, the "add water" light came on again and wouldn't go off. Back to the repair shop. Two weeks later, I've got my third coffee maker in less than three months. Of course, for a month of that time, I didn't have a coffee maker, because it was in the shop. I'm currently researching the Indiana "lemon" law to see if there is any way that I can get my money back.
Buying Experience
Easy to buy at Fry's. Just don't buy anything there that you may need to have replaced or repaired if it breaks.
