Positive Product Points

Well made and easy to use. Makes excellent hot drip coffee.

Negative Product Points

Instructions for use is basically a Xerox copy with little detail. Considering the price of this machine a better instruction manual would be welcomed.

Detailed Commentary

This machine is very well made and feels solid. Compared to other machines I have owned this one is built to last a lifetime. Reading reviews on other machines by Technivorm much is made about the water spray head and concern that it does not adequately soak the ground coffee. It seems to work very well, especially if you do not place the carafe under the filter holder until about 30 seconds have passed. This allows the filer holder to fill with hot water completely soaking the grounds. It makes excellent and very hot coffee.

The instruction sheet recommends that the hot plate be switched to the + or extra hot setting but the regular setting seems more than adequate.

Buying Experience

Excellent experience. Shipped on time and double packed.

Three Month Followup

Solid machine. No problems. Makes the hottest coffee ever.
