Machine works as advertised, heats up water to the perfect temp, believe me, I checked.

Bottom seems flimsy and irritatingly my wife will not just let me stick it in a drawer.
Detailed Commentary
Bought from sweet maria's after I got tired of using a french press. The burr grinder was good but continually needed to be cleaned and seemed to generate to much static, using the god ol' blade grinder. I just ordered his and hers nissan thermos so my wife and I can take drinkable coffee to work. Also about a month after purchase Comet the friendly yet bored German shepherd dog ate the screw on top for the thermal pot. Called up sweet maria's and sent a new one for free in the next shipment. Worth every penny!!!!
Buying Experience
I deal with sweet maria's all the time. They are always on time. Only problems have been my underestimating demand and having to go w/o favorite beans due to under ordering stockpiles.
Three Month Followup
No complaints, works great coffee is still the best I have ever drank!!!!!! Still at correct temp. Dog did chew up the lid to the thermal carafe, Sweet Maria's wasted no time getting a replacement to me. Would prefer to have auto shut off, but other than that, perfect. I still have the flimsy bottom, holding up well
One Year Followup
Still works like brand new, 2 to 3 pots a day. I did get the new thermal carafe but it is not as good at keeping the coffee hot as the original. Sweet Maria's continues to deliver top notch green coffee for roasting. The flimsy bottom is in the drawer now. Got new black granite countertop so it blends in.
